King's Bounty: The Legend is a top-selling and award-winning fantasy RPG with turn-based battle mode, which received an overall rating of more than 90% in major Russian specialized game media.

Gry.o2.pl published a detailed interview with the Apeiron team, developers of 7.62. 7.62 is a third-person view tactical strategy with many RPG elements and battle system that combines RTS dynamics with diverse opportunities of turn-based gameplay. 1C Company announces that the video interview with the members of SoftLab-Nsk – the developers of Rig'n'Roll , the highly-anticipated truck simulator, is now available for download. Many details of the game and the stages of its development are unveiled in the interview. The video is Russian with English subtitles. King's Bounty scored 90% and received the Editor's Choice Award in a 20-paged review in Best Computer Games magazine. "Incredibly charming game where not complicated rules come together with plenty opportunities, the story line parodies all the fantasy cliches ever, while the world lives its life and breathes. That is a true continuation of the legendary game unlike Heroes series and others", - says the first review.

1C Company proudly announces that Avalon Style Entertainment, the developers of an off-road driving simulation 4x4 Hummer and one of Russia’s leading developers of interactive entertainment, today announced that it has licensed Epic Games’ Unreal Engine 3 to develop the latest installment in its popular “4x4 Off Road” off-road driving simulation series for PC, Xbox 360™ and PLAYSTATION®3. “4х4 Off Road III” (international title, “Off Road Drive”), will be published by 1C Company.

King's Bounty: The Legend scored 93% and received the Editor's Choice Award on the top Russian gaming website AG.ru. "One will never want to leave from King's Bounty. It is impossible to spend just half an hour each day playing this game, because it takes you to bright fairy tale which is full of adventures. One of the leading Russian specialized magazines, PC Games, has published a cover story review on King’s Bounty: The Legend. The game scored 9.5 out of 10, received the Editor's Choice Award and was characterized as "a fabulous, heartfelt, high-grade project… Probably the game of the highest quality that ever came from Russia". 4x4: Hummer has been chosen as the Best Simulation Game at Gameland Award 2008 that was held in Russia, Moscow on April, 19. All the awards in this ceremony are based upon the people’s choice. 4x4 Hummer is an off road driving simulation where players can test drive a range of General Motors’ sports utility vehicles (SUV’s) across challenging and exciting locations including the Grand Canyon, Crimea, Egypt, Iceland and many more.

First details from Majesty 2, the game that is being produced by 1C and developed by 1C’s internal studio 1C:Ino-Co, are published on Gamespot. The interview uncovers the importance of keeping of the original Majesty’s atmosphere, the biggest and most important enhancements of Majesty 2 and other aspects of managing the kingdom full of unique characters. King’s Bounty scored 9.5 out of 10 in a review published on CRPG.ru. «The player finds himself immersed into the atmosphere of the game from the very beginning. The adventure saga King's Bounty: The Legend – the highly-anticipated new game from Katauri Interactive and 1C Company became the absolute winner at the Awards Ceremony during KRI 2008 (Russian Game Developer's Conference) that was held in Moscow on April 18-20. The game has won the following prizes: KRI 2008: Best game, KRI 2008: Best role-playing game, KRI 2008: Best game design, KRI 2008: Audience choice award. 1C Company's internal studio 1C:Ino-Co, the developers of renowned Fantasy Wars, is now working on a Majesty sequel which is scheduled for release next year. Majesty 2 – The Fantasy Kingdom Sim will focus on reinventing many aspects of the original game while bringing the brand into the 21st Century. A key element that will permeate the game is the charming atmosphere and sense of humor of the original Majesty.

The first UFO: Afterlight patch created outside of ALTAR is now available for download. It fixes a number of bugs and removes the copy protection.

The Carpathian Crosses team are releasing the Beta version of their new mod for Red Orchestra: Ostfront 41-45. This mod brings the next new nationality to the game - the Romanians, who provided the single largest contingent of Axis troops on the Eastern Front, after the Germans themselves. The player will get to experience a completely unique setting, that has never been done before! On top of that, they are also adding the famous Russian Black Sea Naval Infantry - the "Black Death". The mod features new maps, new models, new vehicles and weapons including the first playable mortars and you can download it here.
